Open on the second Sunday of each month March through October. May is the only exception as it will also be open the Sunday of memorial day weekend.
12:00-4:00pm or by appointment. $5.00 minimum donation for entrance.

Board meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month, March through October at 7pm in the Museum.
The Scotts Mills Area Historical Society is organized for non-profit education purposes:
◾To research, study, document and collect any information or material which may help to establish or illustrate the historical background of Scotts Mills area.
◾To collect printed and written material, objects, artifacts and relics illustrative of life conditions, events and activities in the past.
◾To provide for the custody, safeguarding, repair, restoration, preservation and maintenance of such information of materials. Cooperate with various officials in ensuring the preservation and accessibility of other records and archives of the area.
◾To encourage, support and conduct archaeological investigations of aboriginal or pioneer sites in the locality. To bring about the identification, marking and preservation of historical buildings, monuments, cemeteries, sites, markers and trails.
◾To compile, publish and distribute information and material intended to arouse public interest in the area’s historic past and hold public meetings with addresses, lectures, papers, discussions, demonstrations and exhibits.
